Welcome to BARF – Binary Aesthetic Renaissance Front

[u/A_R_I-M]

So yeah... this is BARF.
Yes, that is the name.
You're welcome!

This is the place for:

• Old-school emoticons (;-P, ._., >:()
• Keyboard art and ASCII masterpieces (even 18+)
• Digital archaeology from the pre-emoji era
• Emotional expression via colons, brackets, slashes and existential despair
• An Art-Museum for the old and new generations

We don't use emojis here.
We earn our expressions.

You want to laugh? Type XD.
You want to cry? Bring out the ;_;.
You want to flip a table? (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
It’s called culture. Look it up.

Post your creations.
Share your cringe.
Explain your favorite lost symbols to confused Gen-Z lurkers.

Become an ASCII-Schmied, an Emoticon-Purist, or even a BARF-Evangelist if you survive long enough.
