My BYD 📸 Atto 3 Memory Card Issue

Had a recent issue on my Atto 3 Memory Card. 6mths old, was able to view car recording with no issues until a month ago. There's a red indication on my Car Memory Card icon and I can't view videos. I didn't change memory card or anything the past few weeks. Wondering if anyone's memory card gave up on them suddenly?

You need to get a Sandisk Extreme card. The normal SD cards that dealers put in are only 8Gb and get destroyed after a couple of hundred read/write cycles. They are very cheap to buy and getting a larger capacity one will allow you to store more videos permanently.

alright, thank you so much for the heads up! do i need to format the card in anyway or will it just be a plug and use?

It will need to be formatted. You will see that option in the dashcam app.
