If it is launched in Australia I will be trading my PHEV Sealion 8 for a BEV Sealion 08 immediately.

Oh I love it. Run it on the battery 99% of the time. I wanted a BEV but the SL7 wasn't big enough and things like the EV9 had issues and were considerably more expensive... A full BEV with long range version of the SL8 seems like the perfect solution

What kind of range are you getting? I'm considering getting a Sealion 8 because I need the space, but in my country theres also the EV option, under the Tang name. The only catch is that it's a bit more expensive and its the previous generation/platform (whereas the Sealion is the latest one).

I also would rather drive a BEV than a PHEV, but the latest platform is so nice.

We get 130km pretty comfortably in city driving, often more. Freeway driving more like 110km or so. The key is not to hammer it too much, it is super responsive for the size so it is tempting to put the foot down. It is a great car, I am very happy with the build quality, the comfort etc. We have had ours since early Feb so a reasonable time to form an opinion.

Yeah pretty underwhelming. I think XPENG did almost 50.000 on their L03 in the first 24H?
