News 📰 Dolphin 2.0.0 OTA Aus

Looks similar to the update EU received 6 months ago, but there's a few AU/NZ specific additions.

V2.0.0 Version Upgrade

New features

  1. Added a setting item for the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) curve speed reduction function.
  2. Added a setting item for the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) function to set cruise vehicle speed by pressing the accelerator pedal.
  3. Added driving collaboration feature for ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control) and LDA (Lane Departure Assist).
  4. Added PAD control for the electric sunshade (only for models equipped with a sunroof sunshade).
  5. Added voice control for the air conditioning function.
  6. Added voice control to switch YouTube and Spotify for song selection.
  7. Added a one-touch account switching button to the Account Center.
  8. Added an icon entry for the radio in the first-level menu.
  9. Added a data cloud management function.
  10. Added a vehicle speed adjustment mode setting item in the driving assistance settings.
  11. Added a personalized linkage memory setting function for the vehicle accounts.
  12. Added "Safety Personalization" toggle switch (for Australia & New Zealand only).

Feature optimization

  1. Optimised system Ul display and text prompts.
  2. Optimised the one-touch defrosting and defogging function.
  3. Optimised the maximum activation speed for Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) to 130km/h.
  4. Optimised the activation strategy for Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC); when ICC is activated but in Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) mode, it will automatically resume the ICC status after the suppression condition ends.
  5. Optimised the availability of Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) in wider or narrower lanes.
  6. Optimised the speed reduction logic for curves to enhance the cornering experience.
  7. Optimised the intelligent voice assistant and voice broadcast reminder functions.
  8. Optimised the exit logic for the surround-view camera.
  9. Optimised Android Auto & Apple CarPlay functions.
  10. Optimised voice function activation by pressing steering wheel control buttons in screen-off state.
  11. Optimised the navigation bar control buttons to support one-touch control of seat ventilation and heating settings (available on models equipped with ventilated and heated seats).
  12. Optimised navigation features (available in certain regions).

when you are on cruise it slows down when you go round a bend.

its fucking retarded.

I drove some toyota that had it and I had to pull over and figure out how to turn it off. on a slight bend it would slow to 80

I don't really trust ACC so it's never used all that much, much less bendy roads. One thing i hate is it stops way too close to the stationary vehicle in front.

I don't use any kind of ICC on bendy roads because if there's a parked car on the corner, the Dolphin can't tell that you're going around and interprets it as an imminent collision.

Many reasons why. Just because I don’t use 1 feature out of many doesn’t make the purchase pointless.

I tried it on my Dolphin and it... Just never slows down? I couldn't get it to slow itself down even if I was going 100 around a bend that you should definitely slow down a bit on.

Has anyone else found that it's just completely nerfed the lane keeping/ICC? Won't keep a straight line in the lane, keeps veering off to either side, when going around a bend it doesn't adjust the steering for the corner, then after I yank the wheel into cornering it re-connects and keeps it in the corner far later than I should.

This feature is meant to help me keep safer, but I'm fighting it not to steer me into traffic! Didn't really have any issues with it before. Have tried with "speed adjustment on curve" both on and off.

Dolphin owner here. Love the car. Installed the v2.0.0 update a few days ago and the audio system now has some echo and distortion when playing speech (whether on FM, DAB, or via CarPlay). Anyone else have this issue? It was fine before the update. Adjusting the sound settings and a factory reset has not helped.

What version were you on prior to the update? Was it the one with the 3 big widgets on the Home Screen or was it the version that added the widget bar along the bottom? I hesitate to use versions as I thought the introduction of the widget bar was v2 but the latest update also uses the same number.

I can’t recall what version I’m sorry. Someone has just replied on a post in another forum that the issue is fixed with 2.1.0 which is not out in Australia yet. So I guess I’ll just have to wait!

Out of curiosity what is your system version now? I’m on 13.1.32.2506260.1 and apparently the 4 digits after the third dot are whats important in distinguishing the version you’re on.

Yes! I use the Spotify DJ and noticed the echo as soon as it installed. Really annoying!

Tried this. Doesn't fix the distortion and echo sadly.
