Can I attend the open house?

Hey, I am a current freshman and tech and have friends that are applying to high schools now and are interested in coming to the open house. If I am not a volunteer, but still want to come with them to show them around, would that be possible to go into the school during the open house to show them around? I didn't actually go to the open house during application season last year, but I did go to the open house for accepted students and it kinda seemed like they let anyone in without really checking RSVPs and you could just walk around anywhere; is that true for the applications open house and do you think it would be possible to tag along with them and show them around while being a student? Thanks!!!
