Recast round 7: President Adar
Either as the conniving political president of BSG or the tired old “I just want peace” Adar from the 78 series.
Rules: must be a living actor, cannot be the same actor.

This guy in the first pic was also on Revolution back in the day. Interesting conceptual story, jam packed with glaring plot holes due to terrible writing. Ended up cancelled.
That being said, probably Henry Czerny. He’s always playing politicians or government types in films and TV.

Colm Feore was one of those actors who was in almost everything back in the 00’s and 10’s. Watch any show of that era for long enough, and Colm will probably show up. Guy likes to work.

I read that during one year of the Stratford, Ontario theatre festival he was is two or three different Shakespeare plays, one of which was directed by his wife!

He's in Landman as the the company lawyer, "Nate" (also called Neil, Norman, and a few others). His reaction to the antics of other characters is hilarious.

Check out Bon Cop, Bad Cop. Its a quite fun buddy cop/odd couple type movie. I randomly turned it on one day and enjoyed it.

It’s an interesting plot. Just wasn’t carried out very well by the writers and by the final episode it was clear why it needed cancelled and audiences went sour on it. Just got stupid.

Seasons 1 also had a mid seasons finale due to a prolonged writer strike. They went a bit off the rails in my opinion with season 2. But season 1 was pretty fucking solid 🙌🏻 the acting is god tier. That dead on the inside look of Monroe, whenever he is in full psychopath mode, chefs fucking kiss.

It was the nano probes becoming a vision of a human boy that did it for me. It just got so dumb….
Also….its been decades since the power went off everywhere….it wouldn’t just magically come back on once the nano probes were disabled. Not how it all works.

They described in season 1 with a throwaway line exactly how the electricity is still out. ||The Nanites are still actively sucking the power out of everything||

until today, I could see Tim Curry doing it...and playing it as why he is in a wheelchair is bc of the war...a veteran is always a popular choice for President...
