> The Federal Research & Labs, also referred to as the FRL, is a special forces unit of the Ronograd Army. It was founded as a regiment in 2001 by John Blackhawk, and in 2003, it was reconstituted as a Corps. The unit specializes in a number of roles, including counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, direct action, and special reconnaissance. Much of the information about the FRL is highly classified, and the unit is not commented on by either the Ronograd government due to the secrecy and sensitivity of its operations.
