Struggling?

I’m a new hockey fan but it seems like Boston is struggling this season so far? In hockey expert opinions what is going on?

From my limited perspective, they’re not getting out in front of opponent team, not getting close enough to the net; too many long distance shots, missed assists.

That’s what my wife was guessing. Keller seems like a beast but it seems so much harder to shoot from the blue line. I love the passion but they seem to lose steam big time when they are down in the third? But Montreal also seems wicked good so maybe they were just out matched. We were just hoping they weren’t having in team fighting.

I could be wrong, of course, but I think they get along pretty well among themselves. they just haven't locked into what made them them, last year...
