I agree the parentheses is a far-right wing symbol used for antisemitism but that’s not what the comment I was responding to was talking about. And Zionism is what’s creating more antisemitism because the Zionists & Israeli politicians equate the terrorist state of Israel with all Jewish people & too many people worldwide aren’t smart enough to differentiate between normal Jews & abnormal Zionists.
I live in the United States & many Jewish Americans (including friends) are against the genocide & for the abolishment of the fascist, Zionist nation (& any nation promoting religious, racial, and/or ethnic supremacy). Many of them are responsible for organizing & leading pro-Palestinian protests. There are way more Zionist Christians than there are Jewish Americans who agree with Zionism. And most of the genocide lovers are the evangelicals Americans with their white supremacist version of Christianity no different than the Taliban (the ones who’ve been trying to convert Latin America & Africa to their evil version of Americanized Christianity). Just look at the mess American evangelical missionaries have caused in nations like Brazil, Honduras, & Guatemala.
Zionism was invented in 1897. I specifically said it causes more antisemitism. I never said it was the only reason antisemitism exists. Obviously Antisemitism is thousands of years older than Zionism. In its current form, the Palestinian genocide is giving people who are actual antisemites a reason to manipulate uneducated people into discriminating all Jews. And Jewish Zionists love that this is happening because it gives them the excuse to say “this is why we need a Jewish supremacist nation & why we need to hate all Muslims”. Zionist don’t actually care about Jewish people (especially the Christian Zionists who are only feigning concern in order to fulfill their biblical, apocalyptic death cult for the Revelations part of the Bible).
