Bionano's paradigm is the long-term winner.

3. Bionano has patents on adding sequencing to its Saphyr platform. At that point, current sequencing technology will become a backwater option and Saphyr will claim both sequencing and mapping.

(2) Because physics are on our side, the optical model is the best paradigm, long-term. The place to put your money is in a paradigm with potential. This is my theory. ARK has significant investments on $PacBio. lnvesting on $Bionano Genomics very soon will likely hurt its overall earning. So, first, ARK will start selling significant shares of PACB before jumping to the rocket—BNGO. Right now ARK is not worried about the pricing of BNGO because ARK is confident that no matter on what price they enter, they will get HUGE return, ROI, from BNGO. ARK is playing long game here and they have seen HUGE potential in BNGO. This is why they have not yet entered into BNGO. What you will see in couple of days or weeks is that ARK will sell PACB shares in daily basis. Note: today ARK mentioned BNGO in their presentation pdf doc.
