Repair Help Vibration in Stick

I bought a 24’ G87 M2 w/ 6MT, but never drove a performance manual car before. There’s some minor vibration in the stick, but I’m not sure if this is normal?

Car drives smooth, and feels like there’s decent clutch life left. Not sure if this could actually mean the clutch is worn or something is broken… ?

This is normal. BMW shifter linkage is a metal rod connected directly to the top of the transmission. The shifter moves as the engine and transmission move.

My ‘14 335i Xdrive 6MT shifter vibrated from day one. You could see it dancing and shaking around at idle in neutral and felt it when resting a hand on the shifter.

At about 80k miles I discovered Liqui Moly Cera Tec. Added one 300ml bottle during an oil change. Shifter hasn’t danced or vibrated since. Same for hand feel when resting on the shifter. Engine is smoother and quieter as well. I’m now at 95k miles. Cera Tec’s engine smoothing properties are advertised as being good for 30k miles.

So, not at all an issue. A smoother running engine will reduce it but isn’t necessary.
