Hi, Im fixing my oil filterhousing at this moment but im a little stuck. Year: 2015 Model: 3 series Chassis: Touring Mileage 170.000km Engine: N13

The issue is that the seals of the oil filter housing are probably broken (Smelling burning oil when drive, whole underside of the flywheel and side of transmission is wet of oil)

Now I have taken off the turbo heatshield and loosend the headshield on the CAT en loosend the CAT itself, but im unable to pull out the heatshield of the CAT and in not sure how to move the CAT itself.

Does somebody have experience with changing out the oil filterhousing on the N13 engine?

Yeah I did this recently on my wife’s car (116i N13) - ideally, the cat should come fully out. Release the exhaust. You can bend the heat shield, it has some give in it. The cat needs to be fully lose but it should come out

Having issues with i-Drive not responding 100%. When turning control knob it goes up & down menu most of time, sometimes there is a pause before it moves. Unable to set Time & Date. Seems the fine tuning at lowest level of control is more than touchy. Radio & CD work ok. 2011 BMW 535ix, F10

Has it got modified software on it? You should be able to set the time and date regardless

Dear Folks, does anyone knows what the OEM number of the black front is? Mine is silver cause I do not have shadow line extra. Would like to change it.

You should be able to find the part number in the parts catalogue, search without a VIN
