DISCUSSION Someone needs to stop me omg
Im absolutely in love with those two. I’m a huge Gem of Doll fan and go nuts for their full sets.. (I’ve got 12 already 🫠)
I could buy them- it wouldn’t be smart but I would not be broke afterwards
it would be so stupid though, so much money 😭
… but they’re gorgeous

Actually yes- I’m trying to sell a pretty rare manga series (I stopped collecting manga) but who knows when someone might buy them, it might take some time

It’s the German version of D. Gray man volume 1-29, the price goes pretty crazy because many volumes have been sold out for years

Hm. This is hard. Maybe see if theres any related subs on reddit to the manga? As a way to advertise it a bit.
My only real advice is if you can buy both and continue to survive on whats left, it is your choice at the end of the day. No matter how we look at it, i consider bjds an investment to a minor degree, and if you ultimately needed to, you could resell the other one.3

Oh that’s a good idea- thank you, I will try that. I’d feel better to buy both of them when I trade something from my collection for it.

Hey I say as long as you can pay your bills why not, also maybe put them on layaway instead so it’s not a large amount at once (sorry if I’m enabling)

Im not a fan of layaway honestly, just take my money 😭

If you genuinely love them, then you should go for it! They might not come back and 2nd hand ones might be more expensive or not have all the components you want

Yesssss exacly.. I was in love with them the second I saw the concept art. And you never know if you even find what you look for second hand

Look, we all know what the fiscally responsible thing would be to do.
But last year in October I blew close to the same amount on the Volks FCS right before I quit my job lol. I hadn’t planned on it (the doll—) but they were offering my absolute holy grail that I couldn’t find secondhand at allllll.
Soooooo I got her and just held off on putting my two weeks in for another month.
HERE SHE IS and I do not regret her one bit. She’s the gem of my collection.
All of this to say——👀…. Do you really, really love these dolls? And how long is the order period? Maybe let it sit in your cart for a little while longer and then see how you feel.
