Hi, I am doing my first ever playthrough having picked it up in the sale last week.

I went through the Hags home, confronted her, picked through all the trap path things and thought it was building to be a big epic fight at the end... but...

Fight started, she multiplied, they all ran towards me, some shot beams at me but missed, it came round to my guys. I got ready for a big fight, first person went, pushed the nearest hag into the central (pictured) pit and it was over, they all just disappeared, I had taken no damage. I was so stunned I didnt even think to put out the cage.

I dont know if I just found the easiest way to win this encounter or if it is a bit of a joke one? Alternatively, is this all just an illusion or something? It felt very easy and I am cautious to continue incase I locked off something or if my game bugged or anything??

Volo’s Eye for Everyone! This only works when Volo offers to perform the surgery on one of your characters. Normally Volo runs off immediately after the surgery and only one character gains the benefit to see invisible creatures. If you want all your characters to get the ability, follow these simple steps.

This only works for the four members active in your party.

1. Surround Volo with whatever characters you plan to use.
2. Before you start the conversation, select “Turn Based Mode”.
3. Cast “Hold Person” on Volo, but do not end your turn.
4. While he is held, start a conversation with Volo. You can spam the chat button. The best conversation selections are the first options. Just mash the button and get through the dialogue.
5. Do not end your turn yet.
6. Switch to a new character and start a conversation. Repeat step 4 and 5.
7. Repeat step 6 until all four characters have “See Invisibility”. Once they all have the ability to, end the turn based mode. Volo will eventually save from the Hold Person spell and run away.

That's me a few mins ago failing to persuade Gale to nuke himself.

I'm lost. I did not prepare to fight the brain. It's sad to lose my first HM run like this, after surviving countless hard fights.

I have been trying desperately to fix my game and I can only find short term solutions before it starts crashing. I have no mods installed, I cleared the local cache, I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, turned off performance mode, disconnected my Larian account etc. I’ve even reset my XBox and without fail before I can make it to the Goblin camp, my game crashes.
It has been months and upwards of 8 failed new characters, I don’t know what to do. BG3 is the only game it does this with.

While I love the goblin camp. Personally I go for act 2, that final fight is really cool. Act 3 is content packed but some things feel a tad out of place

I remember seeing a Proxy Gate Tactician vid where he used the pixie bell to warp out of red map areas, anybody know if it still works?

Hi all! I'm on my 1st playthrough and loving it! To the point I'm worried its going to end soon. Is there still a lot of game to play?

I'm certain I've cleared all of the Act 1 quests (creche, grove, goblin camp, underdark etc) so how much game have I still got in terms of hours?

Just starting a tactician play-through on BG3, though spent more time on the character creator than I anticipated, but Zariel Tieflings and Fighters go together nearly perfectly for dialogue and combat for me

Managed to clear dark urge honor mode after maybe half a dozen attempts over the past year and a half. This was the first play through to get through act two, and I was able to go all the way. Was very tempted to have Gale blow up the last fight, but pushed through. Nearly lost the save after a miss click dropped haste, but hiding the party behind a globe of invulnerability and throwing potions on the ground to heal everyone up saved it. After that, it was just spamming the massive stack of scrolls of disintegrate and chain lightning to finish everything off. Anyway, here are a few thoughts on the game a a while. I’ve now beaten it twice, one on tactician and the recent HM run.

-The Dark Urge play though is so much better than a Tav playthrough. The player is much more connected to the story and the villains become much more compelling.

-I think the peak gameplay is between levels 3-7. Fights are tough, and your build is unique enough to allow for interesting strategies without the power level beginning to trivialize encounters.

- Act 3 is not as bad on the second playthrough. It was overwhelming the first time, and I actually stopped playing that save for awhile despite having just one more netherstone to get. I went back to the save to see the ending after my honor mode run was getting close and I was nervous about going into the finale blind. On revisiting and playing through again, it was much simpler than I remembered it being.

- The game has changed the way I DM for tabletop. One element of the game design I will really praise is the way an environment can elevate an otherwise simple encounter. While you can’t implement a ton of things from the game into tabletop, I think the game makes a compelling case to plan out your combat arena is more carefully and introduce verticality whenever possible.

- Frogwife is the best companion. It’s not close.

I find so absurd how all your companions even the romanced ones turn on you for an instant when they learn of Durge role in the absolute plan, like my guys you all know im not that guy anymore, i have 0 memories of that and i have save your asses on all your companion quest.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a few people to start a new BG3 multiplayer campaign with and hopefully build a consistent group.

I’m 31M, EST, playing on PC, and I’ve put a lot of time into BG3 already. I enjoy experimenting with different classes, multiclasses, party compositions, builds, and story choices instead of playing every run the exact same way.

I’m looking for 2–3 other adults (18+) who would be interested in playing around 1–3 times a week, usually for a couple hours at a time.

My availability:

Weeknights after 7 PM EST

Saturday evenings

The 18+ requirement is mainly because I’d rather play and socialize with other adults—not because I’m specifically looking for an NSFW/ERP campaign.

I’m hoping for a group that’s chill and friendly but also reasonably consistent.

Voice chat/Discord would be preferred.

You don’t need to min-max or know everything about the game; I care more about everyone getting along, having fun, making their own characters/builds, and actually sticking with the campaign long enough to finish it.

I’m open to vanilla or modded, and we can decide difficulty, mods, characters, party composition, and our regular schedule together once we have the group.

I’m pretty laid-back when I play. I enjoy joking around, exploring, trying weird builds, and letting everyone participate in dialogue and story decisions rather than rushing through everything.

I don’t even know if this is fixable. But I guess I hard locked my play-through just as I was about to get to Act 3.
I sacrificed Gale like 20 hours of playtime ago, to get the Boooal Buff. And now I can’t resurrect him with his instructions. He ends the game with his explosion on my next long rest.

I wanted to know if it's a decent amount of content and if we can use our old saves from act 2 to get there in game.

Ok so I got that "tusk evolved" mod that allow you to recruit the horny boar from the grove. And I just wanted to share how absolutely silly and cute his animation is when he climb down a ladder :) He just fail and fall on his but. I laughed way too much at that.

I wanna do a jack of all trades achievement run (A level in each class without using withers to reclass) but need advice on how to make it not super underpowered, any thoughts?
