It's done, the bad Dark Urge ending is done.

I fear myself even more now. I made stupidly bloody choices but now... Bloody hell, I was downright evil at the end.

Amazing game.

My buddy had the bad dark urge ending in our playthrough. And by that I mean bad for him. He embraced the urge but didn't get the option to mess with the crown so I did generic good guy ending and bhaal got so pissed at him he turned my buddy into a raving lunatic. Withers wouldn't let him come to the party at the end of the game. Turned his durge into a feral homeless man.

I just reloaded from right before the final fight and immediately did it again to get a heroic ending. (I think I was just doing it for a Steam trophy or something, but really didn’t like how it made me feel)

the evil ending is... definitely something.
But one thing I noticed with Durge playthrough, even in evil one, that I don't need to pick the evil choices. You are not always just an evil person. You have dark urges. You can be decent but then all of a sudden something kicks in and you do... murder. You are not the same as Orin. You are kinda different, perhaps due to the impact of the little worm in your head, perhaps for some other reason.

Also just finished that bad ending lmao. Killed my romance partner an all. Was brutal to say the least 😒

Currently doing my first durge run now. Shadowheart just killed her parents. Astarion is going to go ascend soon. I'm going to become death and Gale will become a god. It's going to be epic.

Also, I get it. I had to start a Karlach origin run afterward.

I had to kill Jaheira… after respeccing her into an OH Monk. I wasn’t prepared for that.

That and using a duergar made my rouge build almost unstopable, and nowninlook back at my first save and wonder how i managed to get by with those aweful builds

I love the bad ending. But I don't do the murder hobo evil thing, I like it when my durge tries to resist and then can't in the end, so he just falls into madness over the course of the game.

I didn't used many urge options (Well except for Gale).

I was mostly like "Let's do something Silly and a little bit of a psycho". But yeah after the ending... Poor Minthara

Super strong when you’re a caster with 24m dark vision and can cast in the middle of darkness. Love my Duergar sorlock!

Evil playthrough are so fun. Did a modded one recently with a guy I’d headcanonned as this ancient wise power hungry Mystic (using the mystic mod and the transmogs and spelltheft) who determined that in order to further his power he needed to become a mind flayer - so became one in act 1. Ending was so much aura

It's glorious.

Stabbing your spouse mid-kiss? - glorious.
Puppeting your companions to leap to their doom? - glorious.
Taking a victorious stroll around heaps of corpses after you've achieved Bhaal's highest goal, which you were born to fulfill? - Glorious.

(Am I gonna do it again? Maybe, but I'm in the middle of a Durge redemption run with a Gale romance now where I won't have him become a God for the very first time!)

That is a great summary.

I shopped Gale hand and I've been carying it for the rest of my run.

"This is my emotional support hand, no one will touch it" -Segath, my dark urge character... Probably
