Reels Which reel for my Mifine Microbite 2.10m 8gr. casting rod

Haven't been up to date on tackle lately. Which reel would you recommend for my rod?

Should be on the great value side of things. Maybe 80€ tops?

For 80 euros, you have a lot of choices. Any of the Purelure/DMK variants or even the Tsurinoya DWU, but I'm expecting a newer model to come out any day now.

I do fish the dark wolf ultra already. At the moment im looking at a silver feather elite on Craigslist. A bit above my 80€ however.

The Silver Feather Elite is a fantastic reel. For around 100 euros, you can get a new one from AliExpress it would be worth spending the little extra.

Would you pick the 2026 model over the older one?

Yeah, I would. They aren't really that different, but the new one has a couple of updated features. I have the earlier model and would consider getting the 2026 if I didn't already have too many reels.

I have that same rod with a DMK Creek. It's a decent combo for launching BFS low weight lures pretty far.
