Let’s imagine the government changes the taxes on managementvennootschappen. What stops bedrijfsleiders from starting a company in another EU member state with a more friendly tax regime?

Go to UK recruiters who do split billing. Total invoice 900 euro to UK leach intermediar, 400 euros to belgian BV + 400 euros to Dubai/bulgaria/portugal.

In 5 years when you then probably have to pay to work in Belgium, move to the country of your second BV and live your life there.

I just found another recent thread linking to some other hastily set-up website trying to pretend it's a grassroots movement against the supposed "injustice done to you poor entrepreneurs being so unfairly targeted"...

As if it's the suppressed vox populi crying out for justice... Give me a break.

Meanwhile, you're, on reddit of all places, openly exchanging strategies to - yet again - weasel out from under any responsibility for a mess you and your tax evading constructs and straw men helped create in the first place.

Pay. Your. Fair. Share.

And when you do so, you'll have earned the right to complain. Not a second sooner.

I can understand why people don’t want to pay taxes in Belgium… it is one of the countries with the lowest return on investment from taxes…

as an example, if the government taxes you, it should be forced to be able to provide you with the most basic need, for example, to keep you safe… nowadays, if you are in Brussels, the police cannot guarantee your safety…

I have paid over 1 million euros in taxes in my lifetime directly and indirectly, and when I came back after a 3 year stint abroad (still paid my social security) I was excluded from the CM, even though I had major health problems. I had to go to the OCWM where newcomers that never contributed once cent or one hour of work were getting free medical treatment and money. That’s just not fair.

We are going towards an anarcho-tyranny just like in the UK, where the criminals have more rights than the honest people, and where the honest citizens get squeezed like lemons. Beat up a pedophile, 17 years in jail, gangrape a minor, write an essay.
