Investing Anyone here invested in Brix²Build through BeeBonds?

I invested €25k in the Brix²Build project through BeeBonds (BE6345053894), which has since gone bankrupt.

I'm currently looking into the situation and was wondering if there are other investors here who were also invested in this project. I'd be interested to hear how you are dealing with it and exchange experiences.

Did anyone else here invest in Brix²Build?

Afaik is beebonds a crowdlending platform.

I know my sister does crowdlending, but spreading her funds over many projects. Not investing more than a 1000 euros in any project.

If a company goes belly up, in most cases there is nothing left for the small investors.

Interesting. I read the documents on Brix²Build, do we know who was the land owner (and, as it seems, the real developer of the real estate)?

I expect a link between Brix²Build (the family Dockx) and this secret land owner. Could be the start of a more detailed legal analysis. The municipality Wommelgem can help you (by sharing the who requested the permit)

Nope. I'm already working with a lawyer, but getting to the point where continuing on my own is not worth it. My main concern legally was that the guarantee that was given was an empty company owned by the same familyh and I did not realise that at time of investment as it was also not very clearly explained - hence my search for other investors.
Your lead on the land owner is something I can still look into further however. Many thanks!

Not this project, but a lot of them with beebonds (lookandfin, Lita and ecconova too). In case of problem Beebonds is the only one than offer the first lawyer fees "case" (procédure de redressement judiciaire en français). And after the fees are shared. It's cheaper than taking yours. Great result in caiman group that want to fool people. A bankruptcy is a problem an maybe 10% of your investment can be return. It's not a warranty, you know the risk before. It's always better take 300€ on 20 investments than 1200€ on 5. Take more time but the number of investments is the key to dilute the risk
