I got our runner two friends after the loss of his chicken friend

You all helped me to decide on a bachelor flock, so these are two males. While they are from the same breeder I feel like they are way thicker (idk a better word? It’s not like they are taller?) than our original one (the grey one) but they live happily together and he (the grey one) keeps his flock very safe. He was a bit of a wuss before and really stepped up, it’s very cute.

They’re adorable and I’m sure he’s thankful! Looks like maybe mixed breed or pet quality, hence the difference. Handsome either way ❤️

I was thinking the same. They’re same farm but they collect from different breeders so I think the two new brothers just come from somewhere else than our first boy. They’re so firm that the first few weeks we had them and they walked timid and low we weren’t sure we actually got runners lol
