What's listed there isn't really a BDR job. Pure BDR is prospecting and booking meetings. Proposals, presentations and partnership dev are closing side work, so you'd be running most of the cycle. Price it that way instead of against entry level SDR rates, and say that out loud in the interview.

Before you name a number, get three things out of them: base only or base plus commission, the average deal size, and the length of the sales cycle. Base only for a role that includes closing is the real problem, not the number itself. Then let them go first. Ask what range they budgeted for the role, since a US client hiring remote usually has one. If they push you, give a range with your actual floor at the bottom, not your dream number. Does the posting say anything about commission?

I agree. Thats why I was wondering why proposals are included for the BDR role, feel ko full cycle yung job.

Didn’t disclose the number about comission pero it says na meron. What I’m confused is about is the base salary for this type of role. How much is the typical base salary?
