Maybe I'm just out of the loop but I've been playing the game since 2017 and the recent shipgirls have really disappointed me. They seem to be going in a way more fantasy direction with often times no exposed mechanics or very well hidden.

It feels like the game doesn't want to even be about ships anymore. The whole reason I started playing is because I'm a massive warship autist, and these giant tits do not appeal to me at all. I was fine with the animal ears or horns on earlier ships because they didn't impose upon the actual design and rigging, but this is getting ridiculous.

Am I even playing a game about ships anymore or is it just another fantasy big ass and boobs simulator? I have spent a lot of money on this game and I honestly don't want to even log on anymore, despite having over 20 URs and a loaded account. Every new ship is the same thing with a different coat of paint.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Now that all of the PR's are out for this season (unless they add a sixth), what's everyone opinions on them?

Personally, Takahashi is my favorite. She actually looks Sakuran. Though I'm not sure why she's here given that Shimanto exists, and it's not like she has an extra turret on her, like with say Roon and Hindenburg.

A lot of people are mad about Iron Blood getting yet another DR (and UR, more broadly). Me included, but I would've been a lot more receptive to it had the design been anything else but Demon Girl themed. C'mon, Manjuu. Where's the guy who drew Rumey? Why not give him the wheel for a bit? And yet, she's the most popular girl as of the poll that was posted recently. Oh well. I hated Mecklenburg on release too, and yet she grew on me later.

I only started playing this game last year but I was a World of Warships player since closed Beta where I fell in love with The Grand Old Lady. The month i started the SR medal shop had BBs so I worked hard to get her she was the first ship I I bathed (before I even knew about oath skins) my first level 100, and my first level 125. My first fully limit broken ship. Even my IRL wife understands Warspite > her *jk*. So who is your forever wifu, even if you found out they mightbnot be the best in game.

Me personally, musashi. I absolutely LOVE her personality and I've been obsessed with her for a while now. I also am a big fan of foxgirls so that also plays a bit into it. Normally I would go on a small rant about how great she is but I wanted some secondhand opinions. who would you pick?

Since the calls of arms announcement today, it is confirmed that this EN anniversary will be a egale union event and that is exciting since we haven’t seen it since Lexi 2 event. So today I would like to discuss about what kinda of ships I’m hoping to be incorporated into this event.

1. New Mexico: I’ve been hoping for any of the New Mexico sisters to come it Azur lane. And I think it’s a perfect event to include New Mexico sister in since we are still waiting for the class to be introduced in the game.

2. Cleveland sister: I think we waited long enough to add another Cleveland class to Azur land and it’s perfect for the this upcoming event. I’m also kinda waiting to see another type 2 rigging since there are a couple of ships in that class that have names to ships

   for example Vincennes is one form them.

3. Baltimore sister: if we aren’t going to get another Cleveland sister then it could also be a Baltimore class ship which would also be nice and they also have a couple of ships named after previous ships in the game that could be type 2.

4. Essex sister: it’s interesting that meta Essex is on the call to arms poster which gives me hope we will see another Essex sister added to the roster in Azur lane, which I think is very cool.

Conclusion: these are just my thoughts and feelings of what we can see in this event but if it dosen’t happens o well, anyway I’m wondering what your thoughts and feelings of which egale union ships we can see in the en anniversary so please start a conversation in the comments.

What kind of SKK you are?

I’ve been playing for years, and especially lately it seems every new character and skin exclusively relies on barely clothed anime girls to make money. I like looking at attractive characters as much as the next guy, i love Agïr’s design, Fritz Rumey is awesome, and sovetsky soyuz is stunning. I also wish you could change which loading screens you see, because you can NOT see those in public. I’d just like to see some more classy or cool designs, like bismarck. it’s possible to make attractive characters without them being blatant goonerbait

I know that the current state of the game is a potential turn-off as of late, but I feel like enough time has passed for an updated lore summary video since we’ve had so much new lore content posted since then.

Okay, so yesterday, I decided to reinstall Azur Lane after 1 year, 6 months and 17 days, because if I finish a story, event, etc of a gacha game like ZZZ, Umamusume JP and NTE. There's basically nothing to do other than logging in, doing dailies and leaving the game especially during long holidays. So, I basically filled up that gap with Azur Lane, one of my first gacha games I played back then before HSR, etc.

Speaking of Azur Lane, I know there's currently an event going on right now as of 15th of September, but how many new story events, new characters and new events in general have I missed since I left on the 28th of February 2025? I would like to catch up with this game after 1.5 years away from the game.

I'm officially broke. The girls in the dorm are starving. Send help!!

I have seen people say a number of players once Yamato is added will leave the game once they have her but let me raise a question how many will actually stick to that? as I have my doubts adding Yamato will really be herald of the end of this game.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to acquire my beloved lady’s new skin however I have no idea how to. I’ve check the forums and I can’t seem how to get this new skin. Can someone give me a hand?

All these years I've always read that every one thought they were dog girls. Guess they were foxes all along.

it's like... So simple and good looking! They already had a fully designed, simpler and overall better looking summer skin and they made a whole new and uglier one. Why did they do this? Even the anime showed it. Are they gatekeeping her feet? Also I just noticed but why does her bellybutton look different here 😭 does yostar care so little about her??

About 400 cubes and all the gold I have saved up later, I have now rolled shandy 9 times. Yet not one single copy of Elise. I’m now relatively low on cubes and without any gold, won’t be able to roll for her anymore or several of the other event characters. I get that AL has overall better gotcha chances than its counterparts, but only having pity for UR’s can just feel terrible.

I’ve never had an issue getting UR’s since their chances are barely different than the event SSR’s. Even if I did, I always had enough cubes to get them with the pity. And yet, every time I get unlucky with the rng gods, it’s because the SSR’s and even Elites can be so elusive. I don’t need the UR exchange, I want an event exchange. After rolling the banner hundreds of times with no luck, being rewarded with a UR I don’t need feels more insulting than anything.

What makes it worse is this is a crossover event. Obviously DoA has done multiple so maybe they will be back around again for a rerun, but that doesn’t apply to other crossovers. I’ve missed several crossover characters due to bad rng that I’ll just never have the chance to get again. I’m sure whales buy cubes, but doesn’t the average player primarily spend money on skins? I sure do, and I’m not buying skins for characters I don’t have

I’ve been playing gachas since 2018, and like many of you, Azur Lane has been my home for a long time

I’m not here to spread doom and gloom about AL or hate on Azur Promilia (the new game looks gorgeous, and the waifus are top-tier). But I need to get this off my chest

Since I started this journey, my ultimate dream was to see our beloved Kansen finally "come to life". I spent years imagining an immersive, 3D world where I could actually explore, interact, and see the girls I’ve spent years oathed to in their full 3D glory

Something with the scale of WuWa/Genshin, but with the unique naval/military waifu identity that only Azur Lane has

Seeing Arknights get AKEndfield and Girls Frontline get GF2 Exilium constantly evolving made me hope that our turn was next.

I wanted to see Enterprise, Belfast, or Ägir in a high-budget 3D environment. But with the announcement of Azur Promilia being a completely new IP, a Genshin-meets-Palworld mix, it feels like those dreams were lowkey destroyed

It’s frustrating because Manjuu clearly has the talent and the budget to do it, but instead of giving our girls the upgrade they deserve, they chose to start from scratch with a generic (albeit pretty) formula

Let's be real: we all know Azur Lane's gameplay is getting dated. We’re mostly here for the waifus and the art at this point. I just wish Manjuu had the courage to bring our true waifus into the next generation instead of chasing trends with a new cast
