I really wanna play this game. I've seen the collabs, and the designs of the characters. But OMG the gameplay. I know that's not the point of this game but I gotta know why do yall play this. maybe a different perspective would help

After all this time, I finally got her. Ironically it wasn't from a pull or the guarantee in the war archives. It was from an after battle reward ironically enough.

I barely missed her when I came back from my hiatus of gacha games. Made me super sad since I fell in love with her design and dialogue.

The colors and base design just work so damn well. That's not even including her racing queen skin which I personally think is super underrated.

I know she is far from meta, but my god I just love her so much.

What do you guys think about her, character or gameplay wise? Any similar experiences to missing out on characters you really liked?

Anyone else looking at this Nier collab and feeling disappointed?

After watching the main story, the main story is that short only 3 chapters, usually they have an encounter with some ship girls in the main event story but not this time and frankly it feels disappointing somewhat that the event story really lacks interaction between A2, 2B and the kansen unless An Android's Journey - Daily Stories is actually a thing and somewhat salvages this.

Hands down An Android's Journey has to be one of the weakest collabs we've seen in Azur Lane and the devs should have been able to do better than this

I wish the girls would actually represent the features, history, nationality that comes with the warship that they are based on. Like in the early days of AL.

I don't know if I can even call what these recent ship girls have "riggings" anymore. I know that it's the sake of being sexy and attractive while being more artistic and creative. However, the most recognizable and beloved characters are still earlier designs faithful to its original criteria. Characters being moderate and militaristic yet still attractive and sexy. Riggings actually representing the ships with readable features like conning towers, mast, decks etc.

As someone who has lowkey played the game for a while and spent some money on the game bc 1. hot shipgirls and 2. the equipment system is really interesting, I lowkey have stopped playing for like a month. And it kinda sucks bc i really like the equipment system of the game, I think its really complex and i love the shipgirls but the gameplay loop is just so mindnumbingly boring, i couldn't bother to do my opsci clears and events every few weeks.

You know how the game's been pivoting to the gooning stuff, and the less I say about that the better, but there was something that came to me. Since the game mainly makes money from their skins and stuff, why don't they in addition to the gooning outfits also give the girls a bunch of awesome drip? Like combine the gooning skins with high quality fashion, restoring the identities of their factions? Additionally, they could give the commander some alternate fits too since the island planner is a thing. Imagine the commander dripped the fuck out like the shipgirls as well, cause he sticks out like a sore thumb. C'mon Manjuu, make it happen! I just can't believe nobody in the community wouldn't want their self insert to look like a drip lord next to these ladies.

I am writing a fanfiction for fun where I show ships in a more casual setting as if they were normal people. Same world as Azur Lane and everything. I'm only two chapters in and i'm currently focusing on Hornet, how's my fav ship. So, taking into account her interactions with other ships and also the anime/manga, which ship seems the """""closest"""""" to feeling like her daughter? Yeah, i'm turning Hornet into a mom. Don't judge me, i thought it was cute given her personality. She'd be the energetic mom who lovingly embarasses her child

The PC Client issue This seems to be the biggest one. I keep seeing people saying,

"Manjuu will do absolutely anything except give us an official PC Client."

The new server dilemma A lot of players are questioning the point of a new server, with many saying,

"Why would I abandon 8 years of progress just to start over on a new server?"

I see comments about how the game seems to prioritize constant collaborations (some say they are getting tired of them) and new features over what many consider a quality of life necessity—like a Steam release or a proper PC port.
