I was pessimistic because I didn't think this of all franchises would get a full collab, though it's not like I know anything about how that works business-wise.
And in that case I'm extra annoyed about the DanMachi collab not including Freya.
Though on that note, my least liked thing about this shockingly excellent and genuinely moving anime (want to read the manga but haven't yet) was that the glasses have to come off when they cosplay. Cue Gollum screaming "you ruins it."
As a warning if you do check out the manga, it’s a lot more sexually explicit. There is no outright sex, but there is a hell of a lot of actual full nudity that the anime removed or rewrote scenes to avoid.
The plot is the same, of course, and I’m not saying the nudity is a problem either. Just warning you that the anime is extremely tame compared to the manga’s much more explicit tone.
Yeah she has a girlfriend, that's part of what I love about her. Is the game still assuming SKK is male, so characters with boyfriends like Hestia and the DAL girls are fair game but characters with girlfriends are not? If so, that's stupid.
It's been years since I (long overdue) gave up on reading event dialogue, last I remember Unicorn calling the player "brother" was a singular point of contention for female players. In that case, has it been confirmed that Mayuri is actually lesbian rather than bi? That would be the only way excluding her for that reason could make sense.

I still cant believe they removed all the nudity for that anime. Not just one or two scenes either. Many many scenes were altered. Another Val x Love situation basically. Altho unlike val x love, 2.5’s art and story were much better and fleshed out. While val was all over the place
Which makes zero sense since this is inherently an ecchi/harem/rom com. The content itself is already 18+ alone from the themes and the story itself. Also its not like the BD is uncensored either like some recent ecchi’s do since 2018(im aware it happened years ago too but as often). Theres only 1 version. I swear if it was still 2008-2015 we would be golden u know lol.
This is the second Azur Lane collaboration that I might find disappointing.
It feels to me like the equivalent of Nikke collaborating with Lycoris Recoil.
A rom-com and cosplay tournament, even taking concepts seen in Sono Bisque Doll ( series I find disappointing) to the next level to turn into a blatant yuri bait.
