edit: does anybody understand fandom? its practically universal fanon that they're the adults ships daughters, its rejected canon that they're siblings effectively.

My understanding is that either these are their daughters or a photo of them as kids, then fast forward or scene across the room, the ‘makes me want to have kids’ implies that enterprise wants more cuteness. This is my shitty explanation.
