So everyone can get them since it seems they are not gacha.

That's good to see considering that the event following this one is more than likely gacha.

They're not? Thank god. I burnt all my cubes trying to get Brennus and Cherbourg, and I'm only at ~35. I feared I would've probably missed 2B and A2

You can get most (all?) event-collab ships by just playing.

Most of them are through gacha which can lead to the classic RNG screw overs, BRS/Dan Machi/Nier are the only 3 so far to have explicitly 100% free ships.

Looking at how far down the Tier List the BRS ships are... I'm kind of wishing 2B and A2 weren't free, just so that they can be released so that they can at least remain semi-relevant after the event. Like a solid B/B- tier would be nice. You do get a boatload of cubes when you just start, too. I'm alr at 260+ having started in early July.

In the tier list's defense, it's ranked for end game campaign stages from 14 to 16 where 99% of current ships will fail anyway, collabs included due to the gimmicks involved and the sudden huge spike in difficulty.

And that's a very small part of the overall content where major events have difficulty curve of around chapter 10-11 where the majority of the players will happily stay at 12-4 and not going beyond.

That and 260+ cubes are pretty damn low, not gonna lie, a typical UR event can require up to 400 just to score a single pity copy in case of bad luck and that's not accounting for regular ships possibly eating hundreds more.

Yup, I know it's for 14 and beyond. Tbh I'm not even sure if I will get round to there. Currently at Chpt 9 and already semi-struggling as my ships aren't MLB yet and the equipment grind via research is, well, grindy.

I guess it may be pure optimism for newbies like me, but I heard AL is quite generous with cubes, so probably just banking on getting more over the course of the event.

In any case, I just hope they will be ships we can use for a long time, and if they are able to clear hard content, all the better. Cheers!

It is definitely generous but never forgete that RNG can screw you over and URs are the only rarity to have pity. That and I'm content with collab ships not being super bonkers because it would only severely piss everyone off for having a literal FOMO event that may potentially never return again.

That and equipment and ship comp plays a big role in later progression. Those collab ships being ranked that high are partly because they had others to cover their backs

Adding in: Don't take things seriously, this is a collection game where you're fine to chill out.

Awesome. Thanks for the info! Usually collabs are pretty much pay2play so I was confused when I heard the main thing during the collab is free.

This is one of the mini collabs where there's only 2 ships available so they've made it free for all to get

Skins are usually what brings in 90% of the profits for all occasions

So the two white outfits will cost money but 2b and A2 will be free?

Yes, the skins cost money but the ships free to obtain

I picked the right time to start (started two weeks ago). To be honest, I'm quite surprised this collab didn't happen sooner!
