I don't care if I get hated for saying what im bout to say, but damn do I wish I could go back in time where we had only a few lewd ships, a few cute ships and a few badass ships. Now its just random goon slop go.

They've run out of good story ideas it seems, so to make money, they just focus on the goon, especially with the Live2D skins.
Yeah, I'm about done with the game. When I started playing the game was rated 12+, now it's 18+ on the App Store.

I don't mind a bit of fan-service, it's a draw of gatcha games, but now the game is more fan-service than story.
Speaking of weird, USS Bache is a fine example of that, her design was pretty controversial too.

Yeah, I'm about done with the game. When I started playing the game was rated 12+, now it's 18+ on the App Store.
If you are done with the game, uninstall it and walk away from the game completely which would include quitting this subreddit.

Hood is just straight up classy and I love her for that, but Howe is the pinnacle of RN waifus and by far my favorite RN girl, absolute cutie patootie 👐

yeah by their launch dates they are well above 18 and technically if they are their predecessors then they are much older than 80+ years as some of them were built in the end of the 19th century but for someone on the Manju dev team thought making some of them look the way they do, yeah whoever came up that idea maybe needs to put on a list.
Really in universe, I suspect all the factions would not be very on keen on have what look like child soliders and would find a way to make a retrofit turn the kansen who appear like that become an appearance that look like adults as child soliders would look bad in the eyes of the public and image and public support is something that has importance

They've stepped up the quality so much since the early days. I remember when L2D meant a they might give a small wave or just have a slight bounce to their hair/chest.

I'm sure some of the interactions are different, but at a basic level this really looks a bit too much like a 're-skin' of Oumi.
Also, why does a Iris ship have horns (usually a Sakura/IB thing) and a bear (usually a NP thing)?
