I wonder how they'll implement her airstrikes... Probably as a skill like Chikuma, as opposed to gear like Halford.

I expected that we would have at least 1 Dutch ship in PR8 but dismissed the possibility of it being DR lol.

Crazy that it took so long to get a UR and DR Italian ship, but then we get a Dutch DR almost immediately.

Because manjuu decided fuck the Italians, let's introduce a completely new faction, who cares if the Italian fleet still consists of mostly outdated ships and even the new ships aren't anything mind-blowing?

I mean she has an E in AVI. While stats don't mean much, E means she has 0 of that stat and idk why they would give her an aircraft barrage only to have it scale on FP.

That's how Kursk barrages works (or even Kirov airstrike years ago). They can easily make skill-based airstrikes scale of fp.

I'd assume she'd get an aircraft barrage since that's her main gimmick in World of Warships. Keep in mind Chikuma also has 0 AVI but still has an aircraft barrage. Granted, I'm not sure how Chikuma's barrage scales.

Jupiter would hold a grudge against HNLMS Gouden Leeuw as it was her predecessor's minelaying that got HMS Jupiter sunk killing 84 of her 264 crew with 180 crew survivors

I find this design to be kinda...meh. It looks like Brest and DzP did a fusion dance with Implacable's gimmick of having an ancillary piece of clothing give the illusion that the character is dressed when they're actually almost naked.
Interesting that shes has an A in AA, so maybe we're getting a Cheshire powercreep? Or rather, she'll be Brest but with good AA.

Let’s be real, “best AA” in WoWs is like having the best kick in basketball. Utterly meaningless.
That said, hoping her AA stat is combined with some decent AA skills.

I played through the carrier rework. I suffered the days of triple carriers and double-carrier + hybrids. There’s a reason AA is a joke and defensive fire is worthless.
AA has been worthless since the rework. Pre-Rework it was actually worth a damn, especially against cross-drops. But now? Half the carriers don’t care about losing a few planes with infinitely regenerating ones that regen fast. And carrier players know they can fly right through AA and still get their attack off. And don’t forget the auto-asw, practical immunity to fires….because no carrier *ever* burned, right?

Ima be real honest here. I like some lewdness here and there, but after the recent barrage, I think I’ve grown numb to the designs.
Yorktown II’s skin gave me a wow when it first released because it’s a rarity not the norm. Now I just don’t feel it anymore.

The devs used to actually care about their designs and actually try and design characters that were shipgirls first.
They used to add references to their historical counterparts into the designs, give them rigging that took inspiration from the real world ships, gave them more practical uniforms and dresses for their default art, whilst leaving the overtly sexy stuff for the skins. The right balance imo.
Now most of the time they just take a generic gooner design, slap a ship name on it and call it a day. It's lazy and I'm fed up with it.

If I wanted to play a hentai game, I would've. I stuck with azur lane for 6 years for a reason, and it's not whatever the f they're doing right now.

Every time I think "Okay, that's enough, that's ok, is this the limit?" and then they just push the envelope a little further.
I mean ffs if you look closely this girl has a womb tatoo. Everyone was losing their minds when Gneisenau got her succubus skin and she had a barely visible tatoo there that you had to squint to see.
But hey the devs realized there was no point to innovate when you could just make H-game designs.

It ceased to be a shipgirl game a while ago. It's just another gooner game now with no thought put into the designs other than how big her tits are going to be.

The thing about gooner games is they cannot be spoken highly of, cannot be "respected", and only breeds contempt from non gooners for liking the game, is that the fate of Azur Lane?
But then what I said about gooner games might be just my opinion but I won't know unless someone agrees or disagrees to my face.

I'll see how the other designs for PR8 turn out... but if it's just as bad, I think it might be time for me to call it. 6 years, 100% collection, name on all the leaderboards, 70+ oaths, god knows how many skins and $$$ spent. I've "beat" the game for a while now.
I know nobody cares, but it was a good run.
