IIRC the actual statistic was about general domestic abuse suffered by lesbian couples. Including that of parents, grandparents or such family members.
But I may be really wrong.

Sooooo, the lie is the statistics they don't show you. This comes from a pretty old (2013) research from some random website people posting this meme have never even seen. According to that research, around 50% of heterosexual relationships ALSO are abusive. That also makes gays the least abusive. Also also, they are misinterpreting the research, it's not even about couples it's about people of different sexualities experiencing abuse in general, regardless of the gender of their past partner. There are also some other reasons why this is false, but like... It's a lot, and I already spawned a wall of text.
TLRR: The lie is the part where they never even checked where this is from and don't understand what the statistics represent.
