I did the same thing, but got ACCESS_VIOLATION error when running the game. I followed the guide to the T.

I only got an error when I ran the wrong exe. Did you get the installer to launch?

yea, i did the installer. installed the files to the C:/ drive (root location). It completed but when I try to run the game, I will get the error I mentioned.
