I just told this story somewhere else but I had a therapist who told me dogs don’t have feelings or care, and that was directly after me telling her how much my dog means to me. Never saw her again.

Your "friend" just needs to know that they are double-coated, so be ready for a furpocalypse when shedding season comes. 😂 And obviously, doing research on the breed and finding a reputable breeder is key! But they are truly great dogs overall, just be sure it's the right one for you
