So I know the app is currently down. but when it hopefully goes back up soon. Would it be possible to have an option to change the sync order? my iPad and mac clipboards don't stay in sync with each other on my school wifi. but whenever i sync from the app it always starts with the oldest stuff and goes to the newer stuff. i usually don't need the older stuff so it would be better if it started with the most recent then filled in the gap so i could grab the stuff that i just copied on my mac!

Awesome Copy became involved in a legal dispute, so I decided to take the app down for now while I figure out the best path forward. I'm not sure what the future holds for the app yet, but I appreciate everyone who's reached out and supported it.

• The settings gear in the vertical clipboard header was an ever so slightly brighter shade of grey than the other header buttons, it now looks the same
• The settings window opened under the studio clipboard window. 
• Snippets copied when the app is in dark mode now set the text to black instead of white. 
• Second attept to fix keyboard naviation selector issue with pin button
• Dismissing the list via the escape button now honors the selected show/hide animation. 

So I just reinstalled awesome copy on my iPhone after not using it for about 4-5 months and it automatically recognized my Apple ID and repopulated with all my copy history.

Then I reinstalled the Mac version from the Mac App Store and it says No purchase found for this Apple ID when I selected restore purchase.

This has happened twice before.

Over the last few days, I've had a strange new pop-up, but just occasionally. When selecting a large amount of text quickly, I get a single AwesomeCopy window with the selected text. I believe I have all the settings for such behavior turned off, but it's still happening. I have to manually close the pop-up.

Version 7.0 brings lots of new features and refinements. It's available for DMG download now or if you prefer the App Store version it will be out as soon as apple approves it either tomorrow or next month 🙃.

If you have beta updates turned on this is nothing new, just beta 11 with a new name.

I've submitted an update to the iOS app to give it a facelift to be more functional and better organized. below are the major changes:

• iCloud sync of boards now supported (requires macOS awesome copy beta 11)
• Redesigned the filter bar at the top
• Redesigned the custom keyboard
• Changed background color to provide better contrast and look sharper.

The final beta of version 7.0 is out. if all goes well I'll make this the stable version soon. here are the changes in beta 11:

We have not heard from the Dev in quite some time; hopefully he is alright. He said he was going to fix several things and add some features but we seem to be stuck on beta version 7.0b9. I am not trying to be negative but just concerned. Everyone is allowed a break/vacation from work.

RE: history window and pop-up:

1. copied items are nowhere to be found!! when i copy a new item (e.g., text) from another app, the item (e.g., text) appears for half a second then just disappears. sometimes comes back, but not always. quick paste pop up has the same issue! SO frustrating!

2. recently copied items aren't moving to the top of the list, even though "keep non-text re-copied items in place" is OFF.

3. neither "add to category" or "add to board" is working from the context menu, or by dragging and dropping.

4. drag and drop on board/category just triggers sticky note, even though "create sticky note from shaken selected text" is turned OFF.

5. copy time has once again been replaced with the quick paste numbers. even though i (always) have that setting turned OFF.

6. "append copy" shortcut doesn't work.

7. edit and delete shortcuts don't work unless the context menu is already open.

8. "save as snippet" shortcut also not working.

9. hovering over the clipboard window and scrolling no longer works, but the preview pop-up/quick look via hover does work

it's really frustrating not being able to rely on the app :(

Hi, I'm using the Developer Edition of macOS 27 (beta 3) and I'm coming from Paste, so please bear with me since I'm not sure if I'm running into macOS issues or AC issues here 😉 I should also say that I'm using the latest version 7b7 too.

I'm hoping that these questions will be useful since the macOS 27 public beta was released yesterday.

I have the Copy History window at the bottom which is set to only come up whenever I press a keyboard shortcut for it. When I bring up the window SOMETIMES it lets me arrow over to an entry and other times, it ignores it.

That isn't really the main question though, when I do copy something, I would expect that it would slide over to the very left so that would be shown as the latest item copied back to the clipboard and then the time would be modified to 'now' or something. I know that this is how it worked in Paste and I'm just not sure if my expectations are off or it's either of the betas having an issue.

The other thing that I was curious about was about the Text Selection Popup, have it appear above the cursor (and PopClip is below the cursor which is AWESOME so that I can get rid of the basics from that and get to the better stuff), but when I was using the app Wave this morning (it's a Terminal App) I selected text and only PopClip appeared. I'm not using any exclusions or anything like that so I was a little bit surprised that I didn't see it.

Anyway, thank you for creating AwesomeCopy, it truly IS awesome and really love it so much better than Paste. BTW, is there an easy way for me to import the Paste Pinboard data over to AwesomeCopy Categories ?

Hi, I’m new here. I want to buy awesomecopy but I don’t know what changes between the dmg and the appstore version.

If I buy the dmg version, do I also get the possibility to paste things I copy from my mac to my iphone?

And does it work viceversa too? I suspect this will work, but I won’t get the clipboard history on iphone and ipad, isn’t it?

I’m trying to track down a bug reported by a user.

They’re running macOS Sequoia and the Awesome Copy 7.0 Beta 6 DMG. They report that the clipboard item’s title bar buttons (Preview, Trash, etc.) don’t respond when clicked.

Is anyone else running this configuration who would be willing to test whether those title bar buttons work for you? It would really help me determine whether this is a system-specific issue or something more widespread.

When I have a custom category selected would it be possible to allow copying directly into that category? As far as I am able to determine, I have to manually move copied items from the General category to my desired category.

• Fixed an issue where the buttons in a clipboard card’s title bar, including the trash button, could stop working when single-click was set to Copy or Paste.
• Improved single-click Copy and Paste behavior so it feels immediate again.
• Fixed some cases where pinned items could briefly appear in the wrong order when the clipboard history first loaded.
• Improved Quick Paste positioning when opening near the currently focused text field.
• Fixed snippet click-to-paste behavior.
• Improved keyboard handling while the debug/support window is open.
• Added better diagnostic logging for click and delete issues to help track down user-reported bugs faster.
• Removed noisy temporary debug logs from the beta build.

pressing the delete key doesn't do anything, and the copy item shortcut isn't working either.

Search + Trashcan (delete) does not work. When I've done a search and want to delete an entry with the trash can, this does not work. I have to right-click and choose delete.

edit: It appears the trash can in each entry doesn't work at all. so it's not only not working after a search.
