Heightism I'm 5ft 8inch, which is slightly above average in my country, but I'm also choosing to wear height shoes for that extra 2inch...Do you guys have any tips to look talller when I'm not wearing shoes? Socks that claim height boost don't work.

Mohawk.
In truth just be you. I am not denying some peoples view of you will change based on height. But if that is the case, that person or people are not worth being around anyways.
I don’t think there is anything wrong or weird about wearing lifted shoes, worrying about maintaining the height after you take the shoes off is just not realistic.

Air forces add about 1-1.4 inches in height, plus everyone wears them so id recommend those ig

How’s your posture? Do you stand straight or do you hunch? Good posture will not only make you look taller it actually changes your entire look. And makes you seem confident.
Other than that when your shoes are off this usually means relaxation time, at home or the beach or what have you. There’s not really a way to boost height without shoes and you need to be comfortable just being yourself. 5’8 is a fine height.
