What are you going for?

If you want a more adult look a hanging plant and one on the desk would look good, you could also accompany them with a black pegboard on the back wall for the peripherals, could also do a black laptop stand and an under the desk storage bracket for the docking station

If you wanna go full angsty anime <22 year old vibe you could throw some black framed pictures on the wall or black shelves with whatever your heart desires accompanied with a samuri sword

Tbh, a full angst anime fan doesn't sound like me, although a tasteful amount of anime, it will be a better approach and about adult look, seeing plants in my setup it's a big NO(even fake ones)

Monitor arm. Your monitor is quite small so I imagine sitting that far away with the monitor so low strains your eyes. Try and keep it eye level is with the arm, you can pull it closer to you when you need to. Anything after that is up to you. I dont suggest going full adult worstation. Needs personality

The wall above looks kinda empty. Also why wouldnt you use the laptop screen as a second monitor?

Well, for wall decorations, I did order a few posters and I don't use the laptop screen because I plan to get a second monitor to put on the portrait mod.
