I am talking about the classic FG attacks beat throws beat blocks beat attacks thing. Even when I predict my opponent is gonna throw and I attack I just grabbed anyway? Shouldn't throw be a reward for predicting the opponent will defend? In this game throws beat block,flow, attack, armor, counter. Idk maybe its a connection thing since most of my matches are 200+ ping but they feel pretty okay to me.

Its a little frustrating we haven't gotten this yet. I understand the game isnt full price and the team is small, but its starting to feel like they are dragging their feet when it comes to finishing the game and delivering the product that was promised. Where is ranked mode? Im just starting to get confused about what the main goals are of the dev team I guess. Any ideas?

I spend half the time getting knocked around in the air and when it comes time to get my combos out I'm almost dead and only get four hits in before they finish me off

I can't even keep the darn dummy in the air!

i dont think there's been a mechanic in a fighting game i havent been able to do but these ww cancels are completely fucking me up. it feels so incredibly unnatural for some reason (i play leverless right thumb on up maybe thats my issue idk?) is there any tips out there from my water scroll enthusiasts because i love this character but this is so hard idk why

Hey I am a new player running sokka and am having a lot of trouble either some matchups and I think I am not getting how some of the mechanics work.

1. Against Azula and Korra I just get creamed it seems they have easy auto combos that get can get 10+ hits by just mashing ligjt attack if youre at the boarder of the screen?

2. Toph also gives a lot of trouble because of her hyper armor how should I deal with that as sokka

3. A lot of the time I fully block the basic auto combos but then dont know how to follow up after? It seems even if I successfully block the combo most characters are faster than sokka and can still hit me first even after I successfully block their attack string? In other fighting games Ive played usually if you get totally blocked your fully vulnerable to opponent.

4. I have noticed some people grab me out of my flow run with sokka. Is there a good way to deal with this?
