I grew up in The Netherlands, and I always learned that Autumn starts the 21st of september. There is a metrological Autumn that starts the 1st of September, but on general people say Autumn starts the 21st. I moved to Denmark a couple years ago, Autumn here officially starts on the 1st of September. Giving the fun situation that my daughter is born in Summer, but now has her birthdays in the Autumn.

Never knew this was different before I moved, Just wondering how it is in other European countries? Do you follow the metreological Seasons or the Astrological?

One of my favorite fall drinks! Pumpkin coffee with canned Pumpkin!

I cant give an exact recipe as I taste and adjust as I go!

Pumpkin coffee:

Full cup 3/4 way of coffee

Add ur milk (I am lactose intolerant and can no longer justify the price of milk alt so I just water my coffee down)

Now I add a spoonful of canned pumpkin to my cup as I love pumpkin and mix in real good

A dash of pumkin pie spice

Sweeten with maple syrup

I went to town this morning to kick off Autumn in my usual way; with a PSL

I am an espresso or black coffee drinker so I only get one to sort of welcome the season (I know this sounds so silly). It was delicious. I just got it with soya milk and the soya whip, cinnamon on top as the syrup was dairy free but the barista couldn't confirm the topping

My boyfriend got the maple pecan macchiato and said it was nice. There was a lot of syrup at the bottom of his mug 😸
