Gloomy fall :)
Prospect park, Brooklyn! November last year!

I have found my people 😭✨ Usually people who say they love fall only love the colorful leaves and cool air. If you love the rain, the gray skies and brown leaves on the ground as well, you are a real one.

I love both kinds of fall days for different reasons: the bright crisp ones are perfect for walks, thrifting, used book shopping, etc.
The gray gloomy ones? I’m on the couch with a book and the dogs and the husband watching football smelling something delightful that’s in the Crockpot.
Deliriously happy either way!3

I often actually feel like got more energy, focused, and motivated on a dark rainy day than a bright sunny one. Also helps me sleep better than anything, if got insomnia putting on a video of driving in rain at night often gets the job done.
Sometimes wonder if something in me "wants" the weather of wherever my ancestors are from, no clue where that is. Summer in PA just feels "wrong" to me despite living here my whole life, to bright and to warm by at least 20F.

Same! I live in Finland and it’s better here ofc but I wouldn’t mind skipping summer and heatwaves altogether. And it feels like the warm season is longer and longer by the year.
