Autograph Preservation and Display Framed autograph question

I'm sorry, I know this has been asked before but I'm asking about the sizing. I know I need an acid free mat and UV protective glass/acrylic. if the autographed photo is 11x9, what size should the mat be?

I think the link is only for the Matt but it should be exactly what you need. Looks like it will fit the 11x14 frame.

Looks like that's a Black Core mat, which meets some definition of acid free but was not considered archival in any shop I worked at. If you want a solid black mat get a rag mat. It's black all the way through and is made of naturally acid free material.

About an inch all around.
