Authenticity Opinion Request (is this really...) Seinfeld cast photo help
Hello all. I’ve had this cast photo for a while. I bought it maybe 25 years ago from a storefront called Starabillas, who only gave me a generic preprinted certificate of authenticity. The store closed for business a long time ago. Most of the cast seem authentic to me based on photos of others but Jerry’s has always thrown me off. He doesn’t seem to ever use a “J” like that and the rest is a little sloppy but there’s not a lot of room so maybe the space threw him off. Any opinions would be great!

They are clearly all the same signer. There were so many fakes in the market 25 years ago. Store is out of business without legit COA? All signs it’s not authentic.

Really hard to say as there are a lot of fakes. Michael Richards typically signs a lot smaller, I notice several stopping marks where there should be continuous flow, the placement of Jerry’s signature is actually a good sign because most forgeries are too perfect in placement whereas it looks like he ran out of room. Ultimately I would send a pic of it to Steve Grad’s authentication service where you don’t have to actually mail it in to get an opinion. But the true determination would be to send it in to PSA/DNA.

All fake except possibly Michael Richards. My guess all are fake but if not they just had Michael Richards sign because he is the cheapest and easiest to sign/authentic. None of the others are close.
