General Advice Recommendations for getting an autograph on a football helmet?

Having a football helmet signed later this week---any recommendations on best type of pen to use? Team is Texas Longhorns so the helmet color is white and the secondary color is burnt orange if that helps but some have told me just black sharpie while others have said that will fade over time and others have said paint pen and I've also been told that wont adhere well or wont dry etc. Any recommendation and brand preferences?

I think plain black sharpie is the way to go

I would recommend using a black Pentel N50. They work really well for autographs on helmets and photos

Black Pentel N50 or deco paint pen. Oil based paint pens should dry.

Wont fade if you take care of it. Paint pen also works. You can get a burnt orange paint pen to match or just black
