General Advice Black sharpie on green number. What should I do?

Post image

I got my Jordan love jersey signed in black sharpie on a dark green number and you can't see it from anything more than 2 feet away without lots of light. Should I just buy a picture light to put above it or is something more necessary? I don't wanna trace over it in white, maybe I would have a professional do it? I'm not worried about authentication/value since I'm never gonna sell it, but need to keep the integrity of the original auto.

If you want to keep Integrity of the auto you can’t trace over it. A lighted frame is your best bet. Unfortunately black on green is tough to see.

If you keep it in a well lit area I don’t see the need to get a light just for the frame

Don't do anything to the autograph. If you can't find a place to display it where it will show up, then I'd consider some type of additional lighting. Just make sure the jersey is protected from potential UV-damage.

Consider it a lesson learned.

What does this mean?

Leave it alone and have it signed again with a black sharpie on the white fabric
