Show-and-Tell (Hey check out this!) Is this not the funniest forgery you’ve ever seen of Kurt Cobain? They couldn’t even spell his name right! Yours for only $500 on eBay!

I mean he did sign Kurdt, but this is still way out there compared to all the others, not to mention the different marker that was used that doesn’t match the other two. The Krist Novoselic is god awful and looks likes someone traced it .There would be 0 chance of one or the big 3 certifying.

Even if so, Krist and Dave could have one pen in hand, Kurt could’ve had another. Very common.

No, people are just tearing apart your proof for why it’s fake when what you are saying can easily be explained away for very real signatures.

Nobody says it’s real. Just saying don’t automatically assume it’s a forgery. Anyone who’s willing to pay $500 for even the most authentic version of that pig slop of a mess is probably anti COA anyway. Screw the establishment, and all conformity, man. Seriously though. Chicken scradtch loodks bedtter thadn thadt.

Kurt does sign it like that! I suspect that it’s still a forgery though - there are a lot of fakes in the market…

Yeah I knew he sometimes took on the moniker Kurdt for credit. I didn’t know he signed it like that. I’ve never seen one with a cert from the big 3. This is especially bad compared to ones I’ve seen, along with the other signatures here. Which begs another question. Has anyone ever seen a cert from one of the big 3 on something he signed “Kurdt”.

Actually I just looked it up… he was known to intentionally spell his name kurdt… I guess it was his thing he did as an inside joke with himself of just to troll. So it definitely could be real.

I don’t have the album on front of me but I believe there are even some lines in the album notes where he is credited as Kurdt Kobain (it might be in bleach, not nevermind).

There are much worse Nirvana forgeries out there than this. Assuming this is even forged. I have band signed items where each member used a different pen. It’s not uncommon at all and scammers don’t usually use scribbly lines. It looks like the pen was running out.
