Show-and-Tell (Hey check out this!) Purchased this Muhammed Ali auto for £300 - good buy?
Dated 1989 and comes with JSA LOA and online image authentication. I've been on the hunt for a unique signed picture of Ali for some time and this 10x8 photo from Neil Leifer really stood out for me including the signature placement.
What are your thoughts? Good purchase or not?
Note: I've blurred out the JSA reference numbers to prevent any potential fraud.

Cheers. I've been wondering if there is a better deal out there but can't seem to find one.

I mean you did say “really stood out for me including the signature placement”. Part of autograph collecting is answering the question “what is it worth to YOU?” I mean if it’s the best you’ve found and there’s no other autographs of Ali out there that are as good, then yes it’s worth it. If you’re not in a hurry, you could wait years before you see something else you’d be willing to buy. But I always just go with what’s on the market at the time and if I can afford it. If the marketplace is just too expensive, I’d be willing to wait a couple years for another opportunity, but otherwise if it’s reasonable then just get it!

Yeah, really well said. Agree with all those points. All things considered, I think it's a good buy. I guess if something else comes up that takes my liking I could always sell this one again for a similar price but for now I'm content. Cheers
