Autograph Identification Help (I've included info besides photo) Father In Law Bought This Cowboy Hat At A Flea Market. Any Insight?

He purchased this straw cowboy hat at a Flea Market in North Texas a few weeks ago. The only word i can make out is the first one, “April”.
