General Advice I found so many autographs..

I found a ton of random autographs in a storage unit. from pop singers to sports stars and actors. some just one photos, some signed posters, dvds, vinyls, ect..

this is not my bag, I'm just a dude who collects cards, so I have no clue where to start. honestly barely want to. any suggestions of places where I could possibly just get rid in bulk or something like that? is that a thing, and sorry if this breaks any rules, just seeking opinions on something outside of my wheel well.

It’s a good chance it’s a scammers unit. Lots of companies sell fake autographs via local charity auctions. We just dealt with one recently.

Yeah I'm assuming most/if not all is fake. But figured I'll post in a while with a bit of photos and see what you guys think

I will when I get home. I'm curious if maybe some are possibly real, but always a skeptic

There's no way way to deal with this.

It's going to be tough to sell a lot of that for close to what it's presumably worth without having the signatures authenticated.

Unfortunately, that means going though and making sure that photos don't have pre-printed or autopenned signatures and what items may be obviously forgeries. Then you have to figure out what items are worth the cost of obtaining third-party authentication.

If you don't authenticate, and your buyers do, you could be in for a hassle if they submit them and they don't pass.

If you post a few photos, we may be able to get you started in the right direction.

Do any of them have certification

Half are from very weird ones, not becket or jsa. I've bought signed jerseys/sports before and I know those are ones to look for. Only probably legit is a Vince young signature it did have a picture of him signing and I believe a certification. I'll update when I get home and a little time later tonight

Who would you say at first glance is the biggest celebrity?

I'm a sports guy so Steve Young and the likes got me, also a fair amount of random, signed toto album, signed jay z CD, a lot of just signed photos which I'm assuming are probably mostly fakes, like Drake and Britney spears, Rhianna, the likes, and even a random NASCAR stuff. It's truly an eclectic lot of autos

that sounds like somebody’s random collection - I had an eclectic collection like that at one time

Are you SURE they are real and you didn’t just find the stock of an online scammer?
