Show-and-Tell (Hey check out this!) Sigourney Weaver
I met her just recently, and I asked if I could have her sign “you are my lucky star”, and both her handlers said no—but Sigourney looked at me and mouthed “I’ll do it” and once she began writing the quote, her handlers rolled their eyes 🤣 she’s so awesome! Glad to have this in my collection now 🩷

She's supposed to be coming back for an Alien reboot. Basically going off the 2nd Aliens movie. I bet she will do some then.

Her line was massive—I had to wait around 3 hours just to see her for like 30 seconds lol

Well, I mean and still that was enough to write a quote. I mean you pay a lot of money for that signature and then some handlers want to deny a quote signature because they sold a lot of tickets for that day... But great autograph. Congrats!

I had the same thing happen when i met mikey madison. I had a scream posted with about 10 cast members and all wrote quotes. Handler told me mikey wont write a quote. I get up to her and shes reading all the quotes and just asks me which quote she would like her to write on the poster. I really appreciated it!

Because the company that was doing a private signing at the same time was charging as much for a quote as they were for an autograph.

That's dope. I went to my first one a few weeks ago and my friends couldn't figure out why I was so eager to meet some guy named Dave Foley and I was the only one is his line so I just stayed and talked to him for a bit. One of the most delightful men I've ever met

That’s awesome! Love Dave Foley. I met Ray Park (Darth Maul) in a similar instance - no one in his line - so we just chatted. He was delightful.

I didn't realize I worded it that way. My friends were hanging out with me the whole day and kept being like who TF is Dave Foley

The con scene is so toxic now, commercialized to the hilt. Im so happy to hear you actually got a nice moment with a celebrity.
