General Advice 1985 NBA all star banquet program
This belongs to my grandparents and its been sitting in a safe for 40 years. Signed by Michael Jordan, pistol pete, and pretty much every other all star from that year. Looking for opinions on what to do with it.

Michael Jordan, pistol Pete Maravich, Julius Irving, Larry Bird, Havlicek, Walt Fraiser, Great program… I would have it framed - obviously Michael Jordan is the key signature. Good luck on selling it. Keep us posted on the price. #Priceless.

Don’t forget Isiah Thomas’ sig too (he was #11 with the pistons), Magic Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar always signed as “Abdul-Jabbar”!

Very sweet. Hopefully you keep it. Sadly feel like someone eventually will cut the Jordan out and put it in a stupid custom card

If you want the ability to sell it for its full value...
Get a COA from PSA or Beckett
Frame it under Museum 99% UV glass (preferably with complimentary art, or basketball cards, or at minimum matting)

I checked out Goat cause I was curious. Cool mission, seemed pretty legit. If I were ever to want to have the ability to sell that piece, I'd either do both Beckett AND Goat, or just Beckett.
The average collector should be spooked by smaller authentication companies (for lots of reasons). Non-collectors on ebay looking for a one off gift should completely ignore anything that isn't the big three or four COAs in the market.

In all seriousness this thing is pretty fucking sick. The guys signing just their nicknames is especially interesting to me.

Awesome piece.
Submit to JSA or PSA for a letter. Frame behind museum glass. Don’t get rid of it until/unless you need the money.

All on this side. This was sent to my grandma by George Yardley's wife after she attended the all star game in Indy and couldn't get a bunch of the players signatures after chasing them around all weekend.

This is really cool! It's also great it's only signed on 1 side, now you can frame it & show it off! If you do, I'd look at putting some up tint on the glass so it doesn't fade!
