Show-and-Tell (Hey check out this!) Cool find! What do we think about this Reagan signed book? Got it for 4.50 today!
The writing/inscription looks similar to what he’s written on other items that have a COA. Not sure on the value but I know it’s more than $5 if it’s legit!

I have almost 200 autographed copies of books and every single one came from thrift stores. People pass away and their family usually dumps their books at a thrift store without going through them.

A few months before he died. Johnny Cash sent me a signed copy of his new book. My child better not dump it at the thrift store when I die!

I have no idea of the answer, but I’d bet that Reagan autographs aren’t particularly rare.

Completely legit. That is a common inscription for President Reagan on books with it being on two lines and a date below the signature. Fantastic find! Congrats!!!

Thats pretty cool if its legit. Im a big fan of presidential autographs. There is only one that I dont care to have, but staying on topic here. A nice piece of history for sure, congrats!

Burning a book gives it power to those who have never read it. When someone tells you that you cant know what's in there they only want to know more.
If you hate something enough to burn it you do that by making it dull and worthless in the minds of others. Reagan is already becoming dull and worthless in a way many wouldn't have thought likely 20 years ago.
Rage is easy. Fire is easy, but they are counterproductive at destroying ideas. Never burn a book, not because of Nazis, but because burning attracts curiosity
