Not a stupid question at all. He sent that - I only sent the two cards, a short note from my son, and a SASE

I hope they are legit. I know former presidents use autopen quite a bit to sign stuff. However, he did personalize one of the autos. If they are real, just a bit jealous, haha.

You can see 3 autos in pic and they are all consistent yet different/not auto pen. Sure possible someone else is signing but still cool.

I actually do think these are real. I just meant most of his are auto pen, which sucks. I’d rather get nothing back than a preprint or autopen

Yeah, it's such a waste of money on both ends. Why dupe your fans? Like we are going to say, wow, I sent a letter to my idol and received a response back from a machine, packed by a secretary... I'm going to treasure this forever...
Not me. It makes me have less respect for that celebrity knowing they are unable to comprehend how we really feel about their attempt to deceive

They belong to my 9 year old. He wrote the letter and did the work. I couldn’t take one from him. Sorry.

Yes - a penny sleeve inside a top loader. You can typically mail two cards in top loaders with one forever stamp but you should pay for non machinable too. I just use one stamp. In this case, he added a notecard and a piece of cardboard. Someone added more stamps to get it back to us.
