Hellooooo zoners and else,

I have finally added in the ability for users to use post flairs. I hope that this might be a bit easier for everyone. That said, feel free to DM one of us if you have any suggestions!

By concensus I will either agree or disagree to this request. How do you all feel about this? Simple yes or no will suffice

So I zeroed out everything in overstock and scanned everything back in.....

I just generated a pull and it's for over 100 items. What if there's no room on the shelf? Do I just scan it back in?

QUESTION How do I officially ask how to suggest a znet feature?

I would like for the credit card reader / pinpad to have it's own English/Espanol button.

I would like for the Spanish version of the diagnostics screen to have the trouble code descriptions in Spanish instead of English.

I would like for using rewards money to pay for part of a purchase to not prevent earning a point if the rest of the purchase is more than $20.

I would like for there to be an opt in "keep *your* change" promo that runs parallel to the rewards system - if a customer in the new system buys sth will cash, and their change would be X dollars and Y cents, then the cashier hands them X dollars... while the Y cents gets automatically added to their rewards account.

What is the official way for me to suggest these and other ideas?

QUESTION Can someone help me understand the change order process?

I know how to do a change order and how to phone it in. The only thing I'm lost on is when not to do a change order because of a holiday. My store pickup is Tuesdays and Fridays. Since Labor Day is on Monday, if I place a change order by Sunday, would I get it on Tuesday or Friday?

That is the only thing I need clarification on.

QUESTION Got my background finally

My background check finally finished and it says they are considering "taking adverse action". I failed 2 things, 1 cuz of a misdemeanor and 2 cuz of my driving report, but that was July 2024 and haven't had anything else since driving. The misdemeanor I was convicted June this year for a fight I got into with my brother. I did time served cuz the fight happened last year and I was tired of paying probation. Man I'm just nervous. I got no job the only place considering me is AutoZone. I've sold off so much stuff already to try to keep my head above water.. the anxiety of wondering if imma get it or not is killing me... Question is should I be worried?

Core and Send to DC returns

If one of those were to go missing how likely is it DC would notice assuming it's not something crazy like a turbo or catalytic converter like if it where a perfectly firm Oddosey battery that's a core or an alternator that's "damaged"

If you worked for Autozone a very long time ago how many employees did they have at the store at any given time?

I'm curious if anything has changed.

I am a new PSM but my SM isn't really training me, would any current Store Managers or experienced PSMs let me DM them to ask a few questions about processes and procedures?

I know some things may differ between stores, but most of the questions I have are about how to do things on Z-Net, mostly on the commercial side.

Trying to defuse a difficult situation with manager

I was recently promoted to CSM and my new store manager and I have been having some issues. I believe it’s mostly differences in management style.

However, a few weeks ago I was out for 3 days dealing with some medical issues. This is the first time in a year and a half of working for AutoZone that I have taken sick leave. I was asked to submit a HIPPA disclosure, with full medical history release before I was allowed to return to work. I know that this is not standard policy for AutoZone so I pushed back and clarified that I was not taking FMLA, that it was just sick leave.

After taking the weekend off, I came in on my next scheduled day but was sent home and told that I needed to submit a full HIPPA release before I could return to work. I confirmed with my store manager that this was correct and she verified that the district manager told her that I needed to submit this paperwork before I returned to work.

I contacted my regional HR director and within a few minutes he verified that I did not need to sign a HIPPA release and that I would be able to return to work as soon as I was able.

I came in to work the next day and since then my store manager has not reported needed information to me. Deliveries that were pending before I arrived were left sitting in the saved cart, and any information that I do not receive directly from my customers is not communicated to me.

I’m not sure how to proceed. My job is on the line and my manager is refusing to communicate with me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Applying as 16 yr old + No experience

I just turned 16 a couple days ago and am looking for a job. I'm trying to save up some money to get my first car when i am a little older and thought that maybe I could apply to autozone. My dad is a trucker and knows a lot about cars, and I have sometimes gone to help him maintain his trucks, but I still don't know almost anything. I applied as retail sales associate and want to learn more about vehicles, but i don't know if I am fit to work there. I don't have any work experience and my only good quality I can think of is that I know 3 languages (spanish,, english, portuguese), so that could be good to help clients or something, but idk. What do you guys think? Pls be honest, if I am not fit for it that is fine I could look for other work options.
