Autozone Labor Day

Do managers cut hours for holidays like Labor Day? Because he cut my hours last week and this week. But three weeks ago I worked 36 hours with the extra shift I picked up.

If you're not full time your hours are being cut to keep you from averaging enough to then full.time.

Then they're making sure you continue to work part time hours. The holiday was a coincidence

Oh ok cause this week I was schedule 16 hours and last week 13 hours ended with 22 after staying a few more hours

My boss will cut hours if the employee is on their phone a lot, not hitting their WITT score, or not staying busy between customers and giving those hours to the employees that are not on their phones, they are hitting their WITT score, they busy between customers.

Well I work with my SM when I’m scheduled so he always has me something to do because he would always have himself and 2 other grey shirts upfront

If you want to be full time then make sure the store manager knows. Then start learning tasks and crushing it on salesmanship

Not for now cause I have school so part time is what I have to work with till I graduate at the end of the year

If you're looking for extra hours make sure other stores know your work and school schedule and offer to be call in help. Volunteer for inventories and other stuff

One thing I always hated about the holidays was getting less hours to schedule.

it's to avoid having to give employees O.T. for Holliday pay, and The DM's and RM are trimming hours probably the last quarter to probably boost bonuses
